    Somerset Caravan Holiday Parks

Somerset holidays allow you to experience South West England in all its glory. A Somerset caravan holiday perfectly encompasses the county’s unique blend of rolling hills, crisp countryside and striking coastline. Most of the land here is rural, with an incredible 72 nature reserves and two of the country’s largest areas of natural beauty – the Mendips and the Quantocks.

Our Somerset holiday parks are in a great position for you to make the most of these sites. Burnham-on-Sea shares its seafront with the town of the same name and is home to the world’s shortest pier. Doniford Bay sits amongst stunning surroundings on the county’s north coast . Three great things about Somerset

    Natural beauty

A largely rural county, Somerset is home to several Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Pack your walking boots and explore the Quantock Hills and Mendip Hills – home to Cheddar Gorge.

    Heaps of history

Somerset is home to over 10,000 listed buildings and around 500 ancient monuments. We recommend a visit to the 14th-century Nunney Castle or the famous Roman Baths in Bath.

    Lovely local produce

Somerset is one of the largest cider-making counties in the UK, which is as good a reason as any to try out the local brew. It’s also famous for cheddar cheese, which was first made here, centuries ago.

Somerset’s Burnham-on-Sea (where we have a holiday park) is home to the smallest pier in the world. You can visit this quaint seaside spot when you stay with us near this Somerset gem.

One of the best activities available at the seaside actually has its origins in Somerset. Modern 10-pin bowling is an adaptation ‘Somerset Skittles’, which was played on outside lawns with nine pins and is still enjoyed by thousands throughout the county.

Somerset is home to over 10,000 listed buildings and around 500 ancient monuments, a stunning amount considering the backbone of the county is largely rural.

Somerset is home to some incredibly famous food, most prominently cheese and cider. There’s nothing like sampling the delights of Somerset in the county itself, with unrivalled eateries serving an array of local produce.

History is dotted throughout the whole of Somerset, quite often harking back to turbulent times. The 14th-century Nunney Castle is well worth a visit when you head here - it's the only moated castle in England.

Book a Haven break to Somerset and enjoy the breath of fresh air that this lovely Westcountry place has to offer. Burnham-on-Sea Holiday Park is a real escape from the hustle and bustle, having a load of hidden delights and located just 15 minutes down the coast from Weston-super-Mare.
