Our response is always similar: purchasing a static caravan is about lifestyle, not finance. There is a huge caveat though: the costs of ownership can be offset by some smart choices you can make along the way. Letting is the best way in which you can eat into the cost of your purchase and give a holidaymaker a taste of life in your van. You'll earn from your asset
Even though the value of a caravan depreciates in a similar way to a car, you still have a household asset that thousands of prospective holidaymakers would jump at the chance to stay in. By allowing your static caravan to be let with us, you’ll be earning some handy extra cash from a place that would be empty without you and your loved ones’ presence anyway.
Letting out your caravan is a great way to offset the site fees and running costs associated with having a holiday home of your own, all whilst you get on with your day-to-day life at your main base. Whilst the resale value of your holiday home will diminish as time goes on, the income you gain from renting it out provides a steady stream of cash that can be reinvested in the maintenance of your caravan or other pressing needs that come up in daily life.
You’ll get to choose a letting plan that suits you
With caravans to let at Haven, we’ve made it easier than ever for owners to avail from the financial opportunity. There are two different ways in which you can let your caravan with us.
Our fixed letting service gives you a nice round figure on what you’re guaranteed to earn when we accept letting your holiday home for a specific date. The amount is based on history and risk and allows you to budget for your site fees and running costs accordingly. This is a great option if you want to know exactly how much you’ll earn.
Our flexi option sees us play the role of a letting agent, allowing you to earn proportionately from the amount of money we receive from the guest in your holiday home. Our success will be your success, with unrivalled advertising exposure courtesy of us. You’ll reap the rewards from the interest, so it goes without saying that this is a great option for letting during our busiest times of year like summer and bank holidays.
You’ll get a complimentary deep clean
Looking after one home is challenge enough, but managing two separate spaces that you return to frequently is a different ball game, especially when the second is associated with a leisurely time relaxing. When you provide your caravan to let via us, we’ll throw in a free deep clean to make sure it's looking spick and span for our holidaymakers and for you when you return.
We also throw in a complimentary carpet and upholstery wash throughout your letting duration as and when required, making sure that no stone is left unturned in providing the shiniest of spaces for our guests and you, one of our owners.
You’ll have the entire process managed for you
Our terrific team will handle the admin and the paperwork, so you can be sure your holiday home is well looked after. We’ll also take care of the bookings in our caravans to let space, meaning you can focus on the financial perks.
From advertising our holidays, guest payments and arrivals to customer queries and cleaning, we handle everything the guest will need during their stay in your holiday home. You’ll get a £325 bonus
When you sign up for 12 breaks in 2023, including six peak dates, you'll get £325 credit to your owner account.
You can let your caravan between 10 March 2023 - 3 November 2023 (between 17 March – 3 November 2023 at Lydstep Beach and 10 March – 27 October 2023 at Perran Sands). The format of breaks are either three nights (from Friday-Monday) or four nights (from Monday-Friday).
‘When does the bonus come in?’ we hear you ask. These dates need to be submitted before 1 November 2023 in order to qualify for the bonus and if you don't achieve the number of breaks needed, the account credit will be reversed.

Let2offset - make no site fee payments until 2031
Let2offset is a contractual lettings product that offers eligible owners a guaranteed letting income at a preferential rate (calculated each year) in exchange for a stipulated number of letting breaks. It also allows eligible owners to pay their site fees and receive their letting income in 12 equal monthly instalments; the monthly site fee amount charged by Haven will be after deduction of the letting income.
‘Make no site fee payments when using Let2offset until 2031’ is available at 33 Haven parks excluding Burnham, Cardigan View, Far Grange, Garreg Wen, Lydstep Beach, Riviere Sands and Seaview. The letting income received will vary by make, model and location. The monthly site fee payment does not include running costs e.g. utilities, rates & insurance.
“Make no site fee payments when using Let2offset until 2031” is applicable to new and existing customer purchases of new Atlas Sahara 3 Bed or equivalent or superior grade holiday home purchases made through Haven where customers have also signed up to Haven’s Let2offset contract. It is not applicable to private sales and cannot be used in conjunction with our free Site Fee promotion. It is available across 40% of eligible Parks and applies when letting a new Atlas Sahara 3 Bed holiday home (or equivalent or superior grade for 15 weeks.
An example of how “Make no site fee payments when using Let2offset until 2031” operates under Let2offset is the purchase of an Atlas Sahara 3 Bed holiday home at Primrose Valley with a monthly site fee of £585.00 (includes purchasing discount of £45) and monthly letting income of £803.67. The monthly difference equates to £218.67, which will be credited to the owner's account. Both letting income and site fees are subject to yearly pricing reviews and the monthly site fee costs and letting income shown in the example are based on 2024 figures.
Modelled assumptions on expected annual site fee and letting income charges over the 7-year lettable life of the Atlas Sahara 3 Bed indicate that under Let2offset it is anticipated that these customers will continue to receive a monthly credit during this period, however, this is not guaranteed. The modelled assumptions are based on the historical performance of Haven over the past 5 years of trading.
